- Braun Shelly - married; both he and his wife are serving in
the Air Force at Elmendorf Air Base, Alaska. Braun just finished
a
tour in Afghanistan in 2008. They have 2 sons; ages 5 and 2.
- Britt Shelly - married with 1 son; age 2. Reside in
Newellton, LA.
Life since 1969: Went to
college for 2 years; drafted for Vietnam War but joined the
Navy instead; spent 10 years in the Navy stationed up and down the
eastern seaboard with a Mediterranean tour on the USS Texas. In
1980,
went to work in Vicksburg, MS for what is now Entergy Nuclear.
During
this time completed BS degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology.
Retired from Entergy in 2007 and moved to Georgetown, TX.
